A Public Reply to a PM from Stuart Semple
Dear Stuart Semple,
Thank you so much for your reply.
I understand that you are not involving in Culture Hustle's operation. But still you are sharing what they do, so I assume that you are somewhat involved and responsible for advertising their activities, their actions.
And so I can assume that you did not know the fact that Culture Hustle took our money and not giving us update nor products we paid for (unless getting the credit card company involved). But now you know, and Culture Hustle did that while providing the LIT to you and the Italian designer's watch project.
-Now I have to wonder where did the money for prototyping came from, and why did he get LIT while we didn't?
>If it was paid by the Italian designer, why was his LIT order prioritized than our orders?
>If it was you who paid for it, still, as long as LIT being a Culture Hustle product, how was this project prioritized while our orders ignored?
>If it was Culture Hustle providing the LIT for this project, then one could think that the money was from the profit of Culture Hustle, which is the money customers like us paid for and not receiving the products for. Is it not?
So even if you are not involving in the Culture Hustle operation, even if you didn't know the customers having trouble with Culture Hustle, by sharing a project that's using LIT, you are bringing yourself into this. So I would like you to take an action in changing Culture Hustle in the right direction.

While I write this, I received a new message from my fellow watch company owner saying: Hey Yu. Just saw your open letter to Culture Hustle. I got screwed like you too! But I managed to get refunded by PayPal. But I'll never order from them again.
So it feels like at least among the small watch making companies and watch modding communities, this seems to be a rather common problem with Culture Hustle, and this is the league you are involving yourself into with your new watch project.

All I am asking you and Culture Hustle is to do it right, recognize the situation , apologize not to me, but to the customers. Make amend, fix Culture Hustle's communication problems, and return money to the customers or ship what they paid for, instead of using our money / products we paid for on new projects.
And if you Stuart Semple were not aware of the current state of Culture Hustle, and I have to assume that you still have some influence within Culture Hustle operation (as you told me that you could help me with my order if I told you the order number), then I would want you to pressure Culture Hustle to change in how they operate the best you can.
Please make a change for good, and possibly make this public especially if you think there is nothing to hide, and pressure Culture Hustle to make a change in the right direction. I only know a handful of Culture Hustle customers in the watch communities, so I bet there are so many more customers who are disappointed in Culture Hustle, and I can assure you that if Culture Hustle keeps operating like this, it will come back to Culture Hustle sooner or later, and I don't know if they could be as understanding and forgiving as I am, and as you are still publicly involved in sharing what Culture Hustle does, you can't get away from what they does.
That's why I believe making a public statement on what is wrong with Culture Hustle now and how it would change is important (unlike keeping it a secret like most of the companies and politicians we mutually hate).
Thank you for understanding, and I am looking forward for your actions.
-Yu
PS: You asked for my order number, but that number and what happened to it, are already written on the previous open letter, and there is no need to process it. Culture Hustle shipped it four months after my order (ignoring my messages to cancel my order as I no longer need it) after I contacted my credit card company to process the refund, and the package is still not reaching its destination. So no you don't have to do anything about my order, EXCEPT that I would still like to know why it was delayed and ignored for so long, and I would like to know how Culture Hustle would change this seemingly recurring problem.
