Have you watched the U.S. House of Representatives hearing of a United States Air Force (USAF) officer and former intelligence official testifying under oath about non-human spacecraft?? No?
Are you a believer? Non-believer? Experiencer? Well anyway, here is the thing. This fantastically lumed and polished turbine dial, was originally found in a secret UFO watch case design. How else we could come up with such an avantgarde futuristic watch dial??
I think it was 2022 I was making this UFO full watch design. I think at that time, I was a bit tired of making practical watch designs, and I wanted to make something that is very different, fun, and unique. Also, I wanted to make something that is thinner than the NH35/36 movements. And so this UFO Watch concept was made. With the Miyota 9039 movement, and pretty much ignoring the readability, but with fun lumed elements, and a rotating bezel.
I really wanted to make the UFO watch, but the cost was a real big obstacle for me. So I started to make a part of it, the dial. And luckily for me, Namoki (Namoki exclusive color already sold out!) and ModModeWatches (still available!) were interested in selling these dials in 2023.
But I think now is the time to revive the old, round, strange-looking watch concept.
The pre-order price is 380 EUR, and most of the cost are molding and assembly. This is because making completely new case and bezel molds are expensive. HOWEVER!
If the payment was made on PayPal, and if it was sold to an EU country, my profit is minus 25.07 EUR, so it's a good deal for pre-order customers!
- The UFO -
So it's really a weird watch. Many radial lines. The dial, the case, the bezel, the crown.
The case having a kind of chapter ring, but with lumed lines on each 5 minute places.
The bezel also has the radial lines, and one pip that can be used in many ways.
The lugs are kind of hidden, and made to look like... landing gears of a UFO?
And I would imagine this case would attract a lot of dusts, and so as the so called "wrist-cheese". But this is what I call a necessary sacrifice to achieve this aesthetics. It's just... I wanted you to know that it's a design decision, instead of something that I didn't think about when designing it.
- Modder Friendly? -
Well, this case is very... unique, so I'm not sure how many people would be interested in modding it, but it will hold a 28.5mm diameter dial, which is a very common dial size.
Hmm, that's about it. So maybe it's not so modder friendly.

1-Year Manufacturing Defects Warranty
I have been wearing one of the functioning prototypes for almost 6 months. So far, it's functioned with no problems, and I am confident that it would for at least the next 6 months.
The reason I made sure that it's specifically 1-Year warranty for "Manufacturing Defects" is that I believe that most of the people who have never utilized the warranty of a product don't realize that the warranty only covers Manufacturing Defects. Some watch brands offer a longer warranty, such as 5 years or 10 years—but by then, how would you know that your broken watch suffered a manufacturing defect, or normal wear-and-tear? And would you ever be able to convince the brand's customer service that it was indeed a manufacturing defect?
Their warranty doesn't cover wear-and-tear, or user error, and neither does this warranty. But I do think it is important to clarify that it is a warrant for manufacturing defects, instead of just issuing that it is a vaguely worded "warranty" which sounds like something that might cover something more than manufacturing defects. And 1 year is enough time to warrant manufacturing defects.
